The City of
Lufkin Planning & Zoning Department will strive to
assist all individuals in a professional and courteous
manner on issues relating to development and future growth
of the city.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following item at the November 25, 2019 Commission meeting:
Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request to change the zoning on property addressed as 1707 Wallace Street and 202 thru 211 Sybil Drive from “Residential Large Single Family Dwelling” to “Commercial”. A Future Land Use change to Corridor Commercial will also be considered.
A Public Hearing to consider the request will be in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 5:00 PM and by the City Council on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 5:00 PM.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing to consider a zone change request for 412 North First Street.
The change is from “Commercial” district zoning to “Central Business” district zoning.
The Public Hearing will be in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 5:00 pm and by City Council on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 5:00 pm.
