Lufkin's 2018 Comprehensive Plan
The City of Lufkin developed and implemented a new Comprehensive Plan in 2018. The Comprehensive Plan is a long-range master plan for our community. Our last long range planning effort was undertaken in 2001. The Comprehensive Plan establishes a vision for the future of Lufkin and provides goals, objectives, and policies to help us realize the vision. It provides the framework, or road map, to guide our community leaders and staff in their decision making.
For more information on the process used in adopting the new Comprehensive Plan please contact Planning & Zoning in Engineering Services at 936-633-0247.
