Kurth Memorial Animal Services is in need of clean, small to medium size blankets (eg. a  throw you would use on your couch) for the animals in the shelter.

The shelter is located at 1901 Hill St., Lufkin, Tx. 75904, and they are open for donations Tuesday-Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. There is also a donation bin on the circle drive where you can drop your donations directly at the shelter anytime. Or, if you prefer, you can drop them off at City Hall-Administration, and we will take them to the shelter.

Please bring the blankets to Adminstration prior to March 17 , 2023, and we will get them to the animals in need.
