The City of Lufkin Planning & Zoning Department will strive to assist all individuals in a professional and courteous manner on issues relating to development and future growth of the city.

The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following items:

Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request on behalf of the owner of 2208 Brentwood Drive for approval of a Special Use Permit for an Electric Substation within the existing “Local Business” zoning classification on the property described as the J.M. SHARP SURVEY, ABS. NO. 0573, TRACT 11.3 (4.492 ACRES).
The Public Hearing will be in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, Nov 28, 2022 at 5:00 PM.

The Official Zoning Map has is available for viewing in the Planning and Zoning Department (Room 255).  Staff can assist you in producing small area maps if needed at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission. They meet the first and fourth Monday of each month.
