The Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following items:

Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request by Michael G. Parker, R.P.L.S., on behalf of SBRJWM, LTD, for approval of a preliminary plat for the Whitehouse Place Subdivision on 31.55 acres located on Whitehouse Drive near Hickory Hill Drive.

Conduct a Public Hearing to consider adoption of an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Lufkin, Texas, being Ordinance No. 3368, by amending Article XXI “Supplemental Development Regulations” by adding provisions concerning Recreational Vehicle Parks, repealing conflicting provisions including but not limited to those found within Article XXVII “Definitions”; and providing an effective date.

The Public Hearing will be in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 5:00 PM.

The Official Zoning Map has is available for viewing in the Planning and Zoning Department (Room 255).  Staff can assist you in producing small area maps if needed at 300 East Shepherd Avenue by the Planning and Zoning Commission. They meet the first and fourth Monday of each month.
