City of Lufkin matches 2 to 1 (14%) upon retirement
Retiree supplemental death benefit of $7,500 and surviving beneficiary benefits are also included.
Employees are eligible for full retirement benefits at 60 years of age with five (5) years of credited service or at any age with twenty (20) years of credited service
Employees are considered "vested" after five (5) year.

Lufkin Firefighters participate in the Lufkin Firefighter's Relief and Retirement Fund. This plan is required for all Civil Service Firefighters.
